Student Testimonies

“Recently, before i attended this trip I had been trying to fix up my act and do better as a person. Until I came to Jamie's Farm I didn't really go through with my plan and didn't believe I could put my words in action. Now that I have been to Jamie's Farm all the staff reassured me that I am capable to do what I want in life and boosted my confidence that I just have to try hard enough and not give up when just a little thing goes wrong. I hope that when I get back I stick to what I have said and use what I have learnt here to better my life. I thank all my teachers and the staff at Jamie's Farm for giving me this opportunity and would recommend it to everybody. Thank you.”

Student from Stoke Newington School

“I have got no referrals since being on the farm. I liked the walking and when I got back to school I walked to Brixton and I enjoyed it. I learnt about responsibility and the farm made me more mature. The farm was hard work but it was interesting. The farm changed me. I’ve never been on a farm. It was fascinating, I loved it and I particularly liked the breakfast.”

Student from Pimlico Academy

“From the minute I left your home my life started. I now have a whole new outlook on life and found the whole experience uplifting. I am so proud of myself for everything I did on the trip. I have learnt to share my problems and not let them stress me out.”

Student from North Manchester High School for Girls

“I think Jamie's Farm has had a very big impact on my home and school life it has made me see that you have to work hard for what you want in life and the harder you try the more you get. The day to day life on the farm is challenging but I really enjoyed every last minute I spent there.”
