Do you love cooking but lack the confidence to cook creatively without following recipes? Wish you cooked more but find it stressful planning and preparing meals? If so, this event is for you.
Our chef Rob has been cooking from the heart for many years and would love to share some of his secrets for how to cook delicious food on the hoof, first by teaching you some key techniques that can be used for a range of ingredients, and second by learning about flavour combinations.
Rob has worked as a professional chef at several award winning restaurants in Bristol including Culinaria (under Stephen Markwick), the Kensington Arms, and Maitreya. In addition to running the kitchen at Jamie’s Farm, Rob has catered festivals for over 1000 people as well as weddings. He is passionate about young people learning more about where their food comes from, and during their week with us helps them understand the benefits a healthy and nutritional diet can have. Last year he produced the Jamie's Farm Cookbook to encourage our young visitors beyond their time with us. Now we are inviting you to have a go too.
The workshop will cover a range of international styles and is set in the beautiful, friendly atmosphere of our Hill House Farm.
Suitable for all levels of cookery. Cost is £70 including lunch. All proceeds to charity.

Come and visit the grounds of this historic grade 1 listed manor house where many BBC television series have been filmed from Poldark to Wolf Hall and many more. There will be specialist nurseries selling plants and garden sundries, a hog roast and bar plus coffee, tea, and cakes in this beautiful setting.
The annual plant fair at Great Chalfield Manor raises funds for Jamie’s Farm. Come and eat cake with us! It’s a fantastic family day out.

Our annual Farm to Farm Bike Ride grows year on year and is quickly establishing itself as a Jamie’s Farm favourite. It’s a fantastic 61 mile route, starting at our inaugural farm in Wiltshire, and taking you through stunning countryside to arrive at our farm in Herefordshire in time for a celebratory BBQ.
